A Better Future Starts with You

Project Amani is a youth-led charity organization born out of a shared passion for service, peace, and compassion. Founded in 2021, our mission is to uplift underprivileged children and communities across Kenya and beyond through impactful, hands-on outreach programs.

Food Aid

At Project Amani, we believe no child should go to bed hungry. Our drives provide nutritious meals and food packages to children and families in need, helping combat hunger and promote healthy growth across underserved communities.

Education

We empower young minds through donations of books, school supplies, and mentorship. By investing in education, we give children the tools they need to dream big, learn fearlessly, and build a brighter future.

Medical

Access to basic healthcare should be a right, not a privilege. Our outreach efforts include donations of sanitary items, hygiene kits, and medical support, ensuring every child can thrive in body and spirit.

Environmental Restoration

Through our new program Amani Green, we are aiming to carry out environmental restoration activities in arid areas.

Love & Care

More than just donations, we bring hope, compassion, and emotional support. Through meaningful interaction in a well curated program, we create safe spaces where children feel valued, loved, and inspired to rise above their challenges.

Travel Activities

Our charity drives are filled with exciting travel, discovery, and purpose. Volunteers and team members journey across Kenya and beyond to reach remote communities — spreading joy and experiencing the beauty of service in action.

Past Charity Drives

We have carried out 9 drives thus far!

November 2025 — Ipoh, Malaysia

Our recent charity drive provided food, clothing, books, and essential supplies

August 2025 - Kirinyaga County, Kenya

A larger team and a growing network of partners helped us support over 160 children with critical provisions. This event marked a major milestone in expanding our reach.

June 2024 - Machakos & Narok, Kenya

Donors from red cross came together to support the community. This global collaboration proved the power of youth-led service across borders.

How you’re changing children’s lives

Love & Care

We go beyond material aid — we bring hope, comfort, and connection. Many of the children we meet have faced abandonment, trauma, or neglect. Through every hug, kind word, and moment of joy, we restore a sense of belonging and dignity. Project Amani creates safe, loving environments where children feel seen, heard, and valued — reminding them they are not alone, and that they are worthy of love and a bright future.

Education

At Project Amani, we believe education is the foundation of transformation. By providing school supplies, textbooks, uniforms, and mentorship, we equip underprivileged children with the tools they need to thrive academically and dream beyond their circumstances. Every book we donate and every classroom we support opens a new chapter of possibility — empowering children to rise above poverty and unlock their true potential.

Testimonials

When I joined Project Amani in December 2022, I had no idea how much it would reshape the way I see life. Throughout my time at Project Amani, it has changed from being something that I just do a few times in a year but has become a crucial part in who I am and the person that I seek to become.

Project Amani has honestly showed me a lot about life. Not knowing how sheltered i was in life ive gone out to see the change that I can make and be a part of. Honestly it has inspired my interest in politics and being able to see how I can change people's lives for the better. It's inspired me to move out of my comfort zone and see more in this country we live in, showing me how much I missed seeing and being apart of in this country. I always speaking about it to new people showing how much im proud of being a part of this community. I hope we have more new additions

Project Amani has taught me about love and that love is not just spoken, it is lived. It shows up in the smallest of acts, in shared moments and in giving even when it might be inconvenient. I’ve learned that generosity doesn’t come from having plenty but rather, it comes from a heart that chooses to make a difference, no matter how small the gesture.
